She began her career as a stylist in Texas, then took a bold step in 2012 to further her training in New York City, joining the renowned Dop Dop Salon as an apprentice. Over the next nine years, Amber rose through the ranks to become a top stylist, colorist, and educator. Known for always going above and beyond, Amber continued to serve clients on both coasts when she relocated to Hawai‘i, regularly traveling back to New York City. Eventually, she chose to settle in Buffalo to be closer to family and continue building her loyal clientele. Behind the chair, Amber is attentive and intuitive, always focused on meeting her clients’ individual needs. She specializes in precision cutting, balayage, color correction, and bridal/special occasion styling. In fact, in 2019, one of her bridal clients flew her to Argentina to style her wedding hair—a testament to her reputation and connection with her clients. Amber’s artistry has taken her far beyond the salon. She was a National Artist for Shu Uemura Art of Hair for over six years, sharing her expertise through education. Her editorial and event work includes styling for New York Fashion Week (Badgley Mischka, Victor De Souza, Verge), Bridal Fashion Week (Galia Lahav), the Women’s Sports Foundation Gala, Broadway Cares, red carpet events, and magazine features. She has also styled celebrity clients and contributed to numerous editorial shoots. A competitor at heart, Amber was named a Top 5 finalist in the L’Oréal Color & Style Trophy awards and traveled to Los Angeles to compete in the national finals. • Less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a 50% cancellation fee.
• No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
